cant see anywhere on the game page if you used ai for your images or not.
it's pretty obviously ai generated. i'd understand why someone wouldn't want to admit that tho
If they were giving for free sure, I wouldnt care too much, but the fact they are selling it and passing it off as their own art would be, for me at least a kind of false advertising or deceit. I think devs/game makers should be transparent on where and how they use AI.
Before AI ive seen some really good art similar way as this. So, Id like for the dev to be honest and tell me themselves if AI was used.
I've been using AI and neural network everywhere for the past 15 years, from procedural generation, to data analytics for improving balance in multiplayer games, to AI bots, to destruction and physics in games and the list is extremely long. I never disclosed it and no one ever cared. I do not care to disclose anything just because media has chosen to make a fuss about it and create debates around it in order to create governmental control of what is perceived as a potentially dangerous weapon by the powerful. Just enjoy having games with 60 levels instead of 10 for the same price. I do understand that the AI style might not suit everyone, and that's fine, technological improvement will allow us to create better, bigger games with the styles you love and better quality as well in the future (even now, the results are miles away from what could be done back when Hentai Afterlife was done).
More like users are making a fuss about it, havent heard squat from any โmedia outletsโ.
I care for game transparency in this respect, and I am of the same mind as other gaming platforms (market places) that AI being used and how it was should be mentioned. I dont see any real reason to not disclose it.
The only reason users are mentioning it is because of all the media fuss around AI. You do not care for game transparency, no one ever asked me anything about the tools I use, only geeks who loves technology care, no one ever cared for the tools used from a perspective of transparency, when they do it's for nothing else than love of the craft. No one ever gave a fuck if I used a destruction engine that has AI in it or not, nor did they give a fuck if I used a motion matching solution that integrates AI.
If you love video games, and want to know more on how games are made, the upside and downside of each tool used, DM me on discord, there is nothing I won't disclose. I am entirely comfortable with the tools I used, and am extremely passionate to talk about it all.
But let's be honest, you don't give a single fuck about how this game was made and what tools it used, you only care to know if graphic AI is part of it , and I'm telling you, that the only reason you care is that you're letting yourself be influenced by the latest twitter drama. Just one more bullshit drama about a new technology, that's gonna end up with a warning sticker to feel better about yourself imposed by some self righteous cunts, just like it did for the whole violence in games bullshit drama in the early 2000's.
Part of our job as game developer is to understand what gamers trully are asking for, while punching through all the noise. Some people want diversity in their games, others want less violence, others wants bigger boobs on the characters, others want deeper more meaningful artistic experience and feel like AI may destroy this aspect of games, and others think that AI is stealing jobs from artist and that they need to protect them via boycott, others just want a good game, regardless of the tools used to get the best game possible, and the list is long, and it's our job to understand which voices will end up prevailing, and what is just random noise, a fad created by a bigger media storm.
Transparency about the game experience and the game quality is of upmost importance for the gamers, and will stay so in the future.
Transparency about the tools used to make the game never mattered and never will, it's only noise.
All games you will play from now on will use in some aspect AI, regardless of if they disclose it or not, I don't know of a single Unreal Engine coder that does not use an AI to help him code, even outside gaming all code editor from visual studio and visual code are now empowered by AI, so instead of forcing everyone to add an AI sticker, maybe take some of your time to build a 'Hand-Crafted' sticker label, just like they did for some IRL goods, to cater to a small niche community for whom it may matter.
The cake is a lie, and there is no transparency, 99.99% of all studios use AI, wake up, and stop with the bullshit.
In the end, people will act as if they don't use AI while they do for some PR bullshit prompted by some twitter bullshit itself prompted by some media bullshit. And in 10 years, people will realize they all used AI regardless and will just keep buying the product. I don't want to play pretend, fuck this whole AI debate.
Hey your discord link is not working
Thank you for reporting this issue. The link has been fixed.
My pleasure. I just joined your discord
Is there going to be a Demo soon? :) Thank you for your hard work and dedication!
The game is already released in it's full version, and can be purchased and downloaded. If you were referring to a web browser version of the game, it has been developed on Unreal Engine 5, which does not support html5 games.
I see, I just meant a demo of the game. I always demo before I buy, so I can test if it's a game I would be willing to invest money into. Thanks anyway.
This is a lot better than i expected from a puzzle game to be honest. adjustable difficulty is nice, the game modes are nice to have but to be honest flow and classic are the only ones that make any sense to me. the music is amazing. the puzzles themselves are good since they are non-standard, love the way the picture takes shape after a bit of puzzling. The art seems really good.
the only critique i have is that i would love a choice on puzzle size, they seem somewhat small to me, i like to really dig in to a puzzle and these are 5-7 minute tops (on normal/flow settings). would like to see that when you drop a puzzle piece outside the puzzle itself that accuracy would be unaffected, how many times i have missed 100% because of it is just sad. and maybe a animated version of the CG that unlocks after completing it, might be a lot of work to be fair, but it would be amazing.
Well F*cking done! Absolutely worth the price.
9.5/10 from me, would buy the sequel if there will be one. and i am going to start following you for other content.
is there any way to download the pictures or zoom in? there are some nice details in the pictures id like a better look at.
Edit: Yep, the Jan โ24 build fixes it. Works on the Steam Deck, and also works on my Intel laptop if you give it the env variable โforce_vk_vendor=-1โ
~~It sort of runs on Steam Deck, but puzzle pieces refuse to ever click into place. Every good placement registers as if it is wrong. ~~
Hello, first of all, please ensure that you are placing the piece close enough from it's intended spot, and that it is the right spot, I would advise to try out the game in the easiest mode of difficulty (which tells you precisely the spot for each piece) in order to ensure this is not a user mistake.
Also, may I know if you are using the default mode, where you need to click and release the piece to grab it, then click and release again to place it, or if you are using the drag&drop option in the settings?
We are available on discord, and I invite you to contact us in order to see if we can solve your issue, and to setup a refund if we can't.
Edit : This bug has been solved in the latest version.

Here I am trying easy mode on the Desktop, with OBS recording. Both with drag and clicky/clicky modes. It works the same with Game Mode, Fullscreen or Windowed or FS(w) modes.
Thank you for your feedback. This is clearly a bug, but we are unable to reproduce it, it seems to be a problem tied to something in your setup.
If you wish, you can ask us directly for a refund here, which we will forward to itch.io immediately.
Otherwise, I invite you to delve into it further if you are willing to contact us through discord so that we can figure out what in your setup is causing this issue, and to help us improve the game.
Edit : This bug has been solved in the latest version.
I am having the same problem, is there a solution to this yet?
This bug has been finally reproduced and fixed for good. Download the new version, and you should be able to play without any issue.
I've never played a game like this !
The images are just incredible, the puzzles are really well done and I really enjoyed playing it !
I hope there'll be a sequel soon !
I thought it would be average, but honestly, the game is cool ๐ฅ
We tried to make a good hentai puzzle, because we know it's very rare. Glad you like it, thanks ;)
Thank you ;)
